Region 3 Hindus protested desecration of Mother Lakshmee

Over the weekend, Hindus across Region 3 staged a peaceful protest at Gap Road entrance, La Jalousie, West Coast Demerara against the blasphemous and vile attacks on Mother Lakshmee by ‘Baby Skello’ which went viral across the social media platform.

The demonstration which saw approximately 40 Hindus venting their anguish over the assault was organized by the members of the La Jalousie Uma Maheshwar Mandir led by Pt. Surendranauth Tiwari and supported with the presence of several Pandits across Region 3 viz., Pts. Krishna Patiram, Vijay Koopchand and Avishkar Nandalall.
