14 temples to be consecrated within Sri Raam Janmabhoomi Mandir Complex
The world will once again witness a grand celebration on the scared soil of Ayodhya from June 3 to 5 with the consecration of fourteen temples within the Sri Raam Janmanbhoomi Mandir Complex. These consecration ceremonies will coincide with the observance of Ganga Dussehra which is expected to fill the entire Ayodhya with spiritual fervor.
According to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, the event will be preceded with the installation of the Shiva Lingam within the Shiva Temple located in the Sri Raam Mandir Complex on May 30. The three-day consecration ceremonies are expected to attract a total of 101 Vedic scholars from Kashi and Ayodhya who will oversee the all the rites and rituals. The recitation of the Valmiki Ramayana and other Vedic chanting will be amongst the significant items during the three-day programme.
Temples dedicated to Shiva, Soorya Narayana, Ganapati, Hanumaaji, Bhagavati Devi and Annapurna Maata which are located in the main precinct of the complex will be of highest attention. In addition, seven temples located in the Sapta Mandap will be consecrated for the Revered Sages and important characters from the Ramayana including Sages Vashistha, Valmiki, Agastya, Vishwamitra and Raam Bhaktas namely Ahalya, Shabari, Nishadraj. Moreover, a Murti of Sri Lakshmanji as Sheshavatara will be consecrated in the Sheshavatara Temple.
