VAMAN AVATAR: A Civilizational and Psychological Repositioning by Bharateeyas—Part 1

The little dark boy (dwarf—Vaman) approaches Mahabali, (also called Bali) and asked for land that he could cover in three steps. Bali was not impressed. Why would he just ask for three steps when I’m conqueror and owner of the three worlds? But the Guru, Shukracharya, knew the mystery and greatness surrounding the boy! The boy was none other than Paramatma, Bhagavan Mahavishnu, Lord of the whole universe. The Guru told Bali to be careful but Bali disregarded the admonition. The little dark boy then grew in size and in one step covered the entire earth. In the second step he covered the entire cosmic space. Bali’s psyche and pride convulsed in the ensuing encounter. He needed to reposition himself psychologically. This is no ordinary boy he thought. There was no place left to put his third step. Bali then surrendered his head as the resting place for the third step. He bowed in humility before the silent, unassuming might and grandeur of the little dwarf who, in one step, had traversed the entire earth.

THE ASCENDENCE OF BHARAT STRIDING ACROSS THE GLOBE

 The Guru, Swami Vivekananda, knew the greatness and grandeur of Bharat—dwarfed in the psyche of conquerors and the world at large. He informed more than a hundred and twenty five years ago:….Once more the wheel is turning up, [a view consonant with the Vedic cosmological process] once more vibrations have been set in motion from India, we are destined at no distant day to reach the farthest limits of the earth!….Slow and silent, as the gentle dew that falls in the morning unseen and unheard yet producing a most tremendous result, has been the work of the calm, patient, all-suffering spiritual race upon the world….….India will be raised not with the power of the flesh, but with the power of the power of the spirit; not with the flag of destruction, but with the flag of peace and love.

The divine forecast by Swamiji is born out well by Bharat’s history.

DIVINE FORECAST FOR BHARAT DESH.

Bharat, dwarfed in the mind of the world is finally rising in extraordinary proportions and striding across the entire globe! Silently, with no flag of destruction. Churchill underestimated Bharateeyas. He called us “rascals, rouges, freebooters, of low caliber and men of straw, a beastly people with a beastly religion.” But history is proving the Guru, Swami Vivekananda, right and Churchill wrong! Swamiji echoed the mystery and grandeur behind Bharat and Churchill was oblivious of it. Swami wrote:

…She is awakening, this motherland of ours, from her deep long sleep. None can desist her any more; never is she going to sleep anymore; no outward powers can hold her back any more; for the infinite giant is rising to her feet.

Bharateeyas are silently and with great sincere, hard work, coming to traverse and run the world! In the UK, in the World Bank, in Google and the entire IT world. As a start, Times of India reports that more than 200 people of Indian origin occupy leadership positions in 15 countries across the globe, including UK, USA, Portugal, Mauritius, Guyana, Suriname, Ireland and so on.

Economically, Bharat has become the fifth largest economy in the world with projections that it will soon be third largest. Presently it has the fastest growing large economy in the world and a large, educated, youthful population to sustain the trajectory of this economic growth for a long time. Right now, if added up, Bharat has on order 1,100 planes from the biggest manufacturers. Shrimati Ratna Capildeo, our VPS senator says: “It paves the way for a new and unprecedented global reach, a new global positioning one might say”. Much of the repositioning is happening automatically because preponderant economic realities whip the baser insecure materialists into alignment, conformity and submission. The same Shri Narendra Modi ji who was refused a visa to go to America is now given the red carpet treatment and is sought after by the same country. The world is becoming cognizant of the benevolent burgeoning giant and are gravitating towards it albeit to seek their interest and not Bharat’s. But that cognizance itself is sign of psychological and civilizational repositioning or reordering.

I must mention that in this economic reality there appears to be a karmic reciprocity silently at work as well: In 2022 alone there were 100 billion dollars in remittances to Bharat by the 35 million Bharateeyas living outside Bharat. This is the largest remittance recorded by any country anytime in history, in one year. Others came and exploited and stole from Bharat and Bharat as if to say I will not steal back. If I do that then I’m just a thief like you. In Trinidad we say a thief from a thief is a beggar! Bharateeyas have never been beggars. There was an attempt to make us beggars but it failed. Therefore, I’ll take the western education you gave me and I’ll participate in your capitalist system and bring back the billions and trillions to Bharat. Na buddhi bhedam janayet. That is Bharateeya sanskriti at work. Stealing is adharmic. We join the system, we do not disturb it. We participate in the system through legitimate channels without aggression and malice and then infuse Bharateeyata or Bharateeya Sanskiriti into the system as we work with it……to be continued…
